Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Infraviewer LTD ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Cryptopricing website, applications, and related services (the "Service"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides more detail about how we handle personal data.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website owner. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, pixel tags, web beacons, and software development kits (SDKs). Throughout this policy we use the term "cookies" to refer to all such technologies unless we need to distinguish between them.
Cookies may be either "first-party" (set by Cryptopricing directly) or "third-party" (set by another domain we embed, such as an analytics or content-delivery provider). Additionally, cookies can be "session" cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them.
2. Why we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- authenticate you when you sign in;
- remember your preferences (language, theme, watchlist, chart timeframe);
- secure the Service and protect against fraud and abuse;
- measure how the Service is used so we can improve it;
- understand the effectiveness of the small number of marketing activities we run.
3. Categories of cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Service to work. They enable core functionality such as user authentication, session continuity, load-balancing, and fraud prevention. Without these cookies the Service cannot be provided, so they cannot be switched off while you are using the Service.
- pchr_session - maintains your signed-in session. Duration: session.
- pchr_csrf - prevents cross-site request forgery. Duration: session.
- cf_bm - Cloudflare bot-management token. Duration: 30 minutes.
3.2 Functional cookies
Functional cookies remember choices you have made to improve your experience of the Service. They do not track you across other websites.
- cryptopricing:theme - remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode. Duration: 1 year.
- cryptopricing:watchlist - stores your watchlist locally in your browser. Duration: until cleared.
- cryptopricing:recent-coins - tracks the last few coins you viewed so they can appear in your search palette. Duration: 90 days.
3.3 Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how users interact with the Service so we can improve usability and fix bugs. Where required by law we collect these cookies only with your consent. We use privacy-respecting analytics where possible and endeavour to configure providers to anonymise IP addresses and shorten retention periods.
- _ga, _ga_* (optional) - distinguishes users for aggregated product analytics. Duration: up to 2 years.
- plausible_ignore - if we use privacy-friendly analytics, this cookie lets you opt out of counting your own visits. Duration: 30 days.
3.4 Marketing cookies
We currently do not run targeted advertising and do not deploy third-party advertising cookies. If we introduce any marketing cookies in the future we will update this policy, request your consent where required, and give you an easy way to opt out.
4. Local storage and similar technologies
Cryptopricing stores small amounts of data in your browser’s local storage rather than in cookies. Local storage is functionally similar but does not travel with every network request. We use it for:
- Watchlist state - so we can restore your watchlist without a round-trip to our servers.
- Theme preference - so we can apply your preferred theme before the first paint, preventing a flash of unstyled content.
- Recently viewed coins - surfaced in the search palette to speed up repeat lookups.
- Consent record - stores whether you have accepted or declined non-essential cookies on this device.
5. Your choices
5.1 Cookie banner
When you first visit the Service, where required, we present a consent banner that lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customise your choices. You can change your choices at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in our footer.
5.2 Browser controls
Most browsers let you inspect and delete cookies, block third-party cookies, or refuse cookies altogether. Each browser works a little differently - the links below describe how to manage cookies in popular browsers:
Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.
5.3 Opt-outs for advertising networks
If we later introduce advertising cookies, you may also opt out through industry opt-out pages such as:
5.4 Do Not Track
We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because there is no agreed industry standard on how to interpret them. We do respect the choices you make through our cookie banner and your browser settings.
6. Consent and legal basis
We set strictly-necessary cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a functional, secure service. For all other cookies (functional, analytics, marketing) we rely on your consent, which you provide via our cookie banner. You may withdraw that consent at any time by updating your preferences through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer or by clearing cookies in your browser.
7. Third parties that may set cookies
We may embed content or functionality from the following third parties. Each may set its own cookies subject to its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare - DDoS protection, performance optimisation, bot management.
- Analytics providers - we may use Plausible, Google Analytics, or a similar product to understand usage.
- Embedded charts and media - such as TradingView, YouTube, or Spotify widgets that may appear on select pages.
- Third-party data sources - block explorers and market-data APIs that we proxy or link to.
8. Retention of cookie data
Each cookie has its own lifespan, which we indicate alongside the cookie name above. Persistent cookies are deleted automatically when their expiration date is reached, or sooner if you delete them manually. Where cookies are shorter-lived than the useful life of the feature they support, we may renew them periodically to keep that feature working smoothly.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly use cookies to profile children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information about a child please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, in the technologies we use, or in applicable law. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, ask for renewed consent.
